Good morning everyone and aren’t you so glad it is December?! If you read my monthly newsletter on Sunday then you know I am excited to head to New York on Friday with my mom for our mother/daughter trip. This is something that we have done for the past 4 years, and I am excited because it will be my mom’s first time in NYC. One thing that we of course will be bringing are lots of layers. It has been almost 4 years since I was last in New York for fashion week, and it was a lot colder than it is going to be this weekend. I am always one for layers and big comfy sweaters like this neutral leopard sweater. You all know that I love leopard and especially if it is also neutral that can be layered with so much other stuff. I got this top last month when I was shopping with my friends and have been wearing it ever since. I love it from anything from a skirt like I did here or some skinny jeans.

I don’t know about you but to me it is the more cozy the look the better. This one gives this neutral leopard an updated feel because of the skirt, hat, and boots combo. I feel like people need to wear these floppy hats a lot more lately. While I was in San Antonio this past weekend I was wearing my favorite black hat and knew that I should be wearing these more often than I do. It gives such a chic look to an otherwise comfy look and elevates it even more. I am all into the olive greens lately and corduroy as well as you saw with these pants. When I saw this skirt that combined the two together I knew that I would have lots of excuses to wear this piece non stop as well.
