Are you all excited about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale yet? I don’t know about you, but this is a time that I like to shop all of my favorite essentials at a great discounted price. I love to stock up on staple items like new boots, jeans, beauty and new athletic and athleisure wear. Even if you don’t regularly shop at Nordstrom, it is a good time to shop it and get really great pieces that will be worn or used year over year. Monday marks the day I can shop as a cardholder, and access to the public opens on August 19th-August 30th. It is also a great time to snag some Christmas gifts, even though it seems like it is so far away. Hey, it is 2020 and Christmas right now sounds so nice. I have provided my favorite Nordstrom Anniversary Sale tips that I personally like to use, and hope you can as well.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Tips

• Add your Favorite Items To Your Wishlist: If you see some items that you have to have, go ahead and add them to your wishlist. You want to make sure you don’t have to scroll through every single page once the sale opens up for you. This saves so much time, and then you can narrow it down from there. It also helps you checkout fast in case there is a lot that is sold out.
• Create a List of What You Need: Not having a list can really get out of hand during this sale. Trust me I have bought a lot of items before and love shopping this sale. It is good to have a list in mind even if everything is on major sale, so you don’t regret any of your purchases. Go through your closet and write down what you need to replace or get that you don’t have already. Trust me your bank account will appreciate it!
• Go Through Your Stuff Prior: If you use my rule of one thing in means one thing out, then you should continue this mindset through the sale. I also have this mentality so that I don’t have to buy new hangers when I get something new. Going through your stuff prior to making a list, helps you prepare for this sale even more. You might check when going through your drawers that you haven’t purchased a new bra or socks in a while, well get rid of the old and get a new one from the sale. This by the way is some of the essentials that I recommend getting on this sale.
• Filter Against Your Favorite Brands: We all have our favorite brands, and during this Nordstrom Anniversary Sale a majority of my favorite ones are included in this sale. It is so nice to be able to filter against Frame for instance to see all of the jeans that they are offering. This helps save you time so you aren’t going through 50 different pages as well.
• Look at the Percentage Off: Sometimes the price seems really good, but when you look at the original price it is not that great of a deal. It is important to look at this before adding anything into your cart. Some of the items might be better when they are discounted on off season. I will say that these items are tried and true classics and new styles, so items that are off-trend or are not going to sale typically are not included in this. It is still a good thing to check though, if anything it makes your purchase feel 10 times better.
• Larger Quantities or Boxed Items Are Worth It: One thing that is common at least for beauty items, are having them in larger quantities for the product. You might not think a huge can of dry shampoo is worth it, but for the price it totally is during the sale. I also see beauty items are put in boxed items that also include a cute bag or box for instance. Just because you might not use all of the products, it ends up being a good deal.
• Stock Up On Your Essentials : While you make a list and go through your stuff, the essential items are always the best in my opinion. Jeans are always a steal as well as bras, athletic wear, and new running shoes. Items that you will need year after year that can wear out, are some of the essentials that are totally worth it during the sale.
• Look for Gifts: Since the sale has a lot of boxed items or bundled products, these work great for hostess gifts, birthday gifts or Christmas gifts coming up. It is always nice to have some extra gifts to be able to gift for anything that might come up. I love all of the candles, blankets or any other items that are perfect in the sale.
