It is September 1st and can you believe we are almost in the final quarter of the year?! 2020 sure has been a whirlwind of a year, and it has gone by so fast. Since everyone has been working from home, it seems like the days and months are just ticking by. I don’t know about you, but this girl is ready for Fall. It is by far my favorite time of year. I love the crisp air, the leaves falling, all of the pumpkin decor, bonfires smells, and my birthday. I am one of those that loves birthdays and celebrating all of the things all of the time. Getting ready for Fall had me getting some new booties during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, as well as a fun new Fall floral dress.

Last year I was into Fall with my leather skirt and suede look here, and now it is all about the florals. When I spotted this dress online during the sale, what stood out to me was the ruffles and the colors in this dress. It is something that could be worn to a dinner during the Summer with some strappy shoes, or into the Fall with some booties like these. Fall also gets me in the mood for a nice glass of red wine somewhere in a winery as well. Tomorrow morning I am so excited that myself and 3 of my girlfriends got this super nice house out in Fredericksburg, and are going to enjoy 2 nights of some great wine. It is simply the best thing to do as we all transition into Fall. Remember when my mom and I went on our first mother/daughter trip Labor Day weekend to Napa, something about heading into Fall which is so magical.
