Happy last week in the true Summer month of August. It is hard to believe that this month is about to be over, and then it’s Labor Day and we transition into Fall. I don’t know about you but it has been a hot Summer. I mean every Summer here in Houston is, but it seems like it has for sure been more humid than other Summer days. This dress is one that describes this look perfectly lately on this red hot Summer. Let’s make the most of this last week in August and head into cooler weather. I have been trying to transition my wardrobe from Summer to Fall by slowly bringing in more sweaters like I did in this post and adding in some booties. One thing that will always remain a staple item though is a versatile leather jacket.

I bought this red dress for Nice, and have been wearing it ever since. It is one of those flirty dresses with the tie, ruffles, and cut out that would be perfect from a day at the beach to date night. One thing that I do like to do is slowly transition my outfit pieces from hotter to cooler weather. It is also because there really isn’t that much cooler weather in Houston as well. It’s just about adding scarves and a couple of jackets and switching up your footwear, that is all you really need to do to transition. I love saving more on the fun accessories that you can do so much with during this time of year. It also helps if you can wear some of the accessories from day to night like these amazing loafers. Gotta love snakeskin during this time of year, it will be everywhere this Fall!
