Jumpsuit | Shoes | Bag c/o | Earrings | Bracelet | Lips 

Currently I am in the airport waiting to board my flight to LA. I can’t wait for this fun little blogger trip. I am going with another Houston blogger Emily from Something Gold, Something Blue and our photographer Lauren from LA Photography for a little fun getaway. We are going to be going to staying in LA for a little bit, and then going to Palm Springs for a couple of days. While in Palm Springs we have a great house with a pool that I can’t wait for! This is my first time to this part of California and it has been on my bucket list for a while now. Last night I did some late night packing and wanted to bring everything colorful and stripes, which I pretty much did. My suitcase weighed 49.5 pounds which means I basically can’t shop while I am on vacation. The temperatures are going to be around 115 degrees, so that should be interesting shooting some looks in the dry heat. I have lots of color and stripes in my suitcase similar to this look that I am featuring here.

Stripes and a jumpsuit are an easy going look and are cool enough for the high temperatures. I have worn this jumpsuit multiple times this season and summer stripes have been my go to print. I plan on wearing this jumpsuit in the fall too with a leather jacket and some ankle high boots. I actually picked up a jumper for my trip that has some summer stripes all over it, and I am going to incorporate a fall look into it while shooting pics this weekend. These stripes are a basic that will never go out of style. It also helps that the bright colors don’t make you look as pale when worn together. That is extremely important to me and will help since I just got a spray tan last night for this trip luckily.
