If you aren’t prepared yet, you know it is that time of year that we always look forward to and that is the holidays of course! I had said that I would be putting our Christmas decorations out by now, but the weekend ended up being a lot busier than expected. I plan on putting some out this weekend and enjoying this cooler weather that is about to hit. One thing that I have been trying to do is plan ahead for the holidays. This planning includes trying to get all my Christmas shopping done by December 1st, as well as putting all of my events in my planner for the upcoming holiday season. It is always filled with get togethers like looking at Christmas lights, company parties, secret santas, and other events with family and friends. One thing for getting ready for this time for the holidays is making for sure you have a few festive pieces in your closet as well.

A fun statement piece like this purple dress can do wonders for a great holiday party that is coming up. I originally wore this in Miami for my 30th birthday celebrations, but it can continue to be worn through the holidays as well. The color is so fun and the sleeves with the texture give it that retro vibe that makes it unique. Lately as we have seen all over the trends, are a western cowboy flair being added to any outfit. This is typically with cowboy boots and these are popping up with the basic leather looks from snakeskin and even zebra print. I wanted this option to be a fun look if dancing was involved as well with a holiday party, as these booties are so comfortable for something like this. Adding in prints with a great color makes this look perfect for the holidays.
