Back to School Guide

It is that time again where everyone is going back to school for another year. Honestly, I do not know exactly where the summer went, but I am amazed on how fast it flew by. Most everyone in Houston has started school here and I can for sure tell by the increased traffic in the morning. Growing up I would always get so nervous on my first day of school and always had to have the most perfect outfit. My favorite part of going back to school was going shopping and getting a new planner. Whether you have a child who is in elementary school or you yourself are in college,  I think it is always nice to go back to school shopping without breaking the bank too.

I love stationary and planners are my favorite way to stay in touch with all of the meetings and appointments of every day life. I still look forward to getting new stationary even though I am just going back to work. It is always good to have the crowds die down a little when going shopping, but ordering online you do not have to wait and it is so much easier to do it this way. I have rounded up a few of my favorites here and the list will continue to grow!

  • Carrying all of your school supplies in a fun backpack or tote is the number one fashion item you have to have when starting a new school year, these above are all such fun options.
  • In order to make the best grades carrying your pencils/pens and papers in something trendy like this is not only functional but makes you stand out too. Jotting down all of your meetings in a great agenda is the number one organizing item you can have.
  • You can’t put your best foot forward this school year without a new pair of kicks. The biggest trend this year and my favorites that I just ordered are the lace up flats. You always need a pair of retro sneakers on hand to change it up.
  • My favorite items to shop for are clothes and a trench coat and some great jeans that go with everything are items you will wear over and over this whole year.
  • Accessories just make an outfit and this bracelet that has coordinates on it is perfect to wear if you are off at college at a new place. This blush/bronzer is what I wear on a daily basis and mimics Nars but is like 1/4th of the price!
