Moving into Spring

It is almost that time of year where it will start to feel like Spring. Every year once Valentine’s Day is over, I start to bring out warmer weather clothes and look forward to Daylight Savings Time. We all just have better sprits when we know that the time is coming where we can enjoy longer days and not have the same cold weather that we have been experiencing over the last couple of months. It is what I like to call moving into Spring mode. This is a time to bring out all of the flirty Spring dresses and add some fun espadrilles. Since the weather is not fully transitioned into sunshine yet, some of your pieces have to be transitional cooler weather basics. I am still all about my white booties. These to me are my staple pieces that can go with anything from a sweater dress in the winter to jean shorts in the summer. It also helps that you can fully extend their utilization as you continue through some of the warmer months. Pieces like these are great to keep stock of in your wardrobe.

As we are moving into Spring, so most some other pieces in our wardrobe. This to me involves bringing out some fun floral dresses. I don’t know about you but floral to me screams Spring and gets me so excited. I picked up this dress from the Galleria this past weekend and liked the different occasions I could wear this for. The brown floral is so classic and subtle that I could wear this to work with tights, but the slit also makes it a fun weekend dress. I love the button detailing up the front of it, and the material is so soft and comfy for an everyday wear. What is also great about this dress is the collar and the tie around the waist. Anything that has a waist tie like this dress is 10 times better in my opinion. These simple shirt dresses are sure to make a staple to any outfit this coming Spring.
