Oh Winter time, that time of year right after the holidays where you have packed away all of the festive gear and are ready for the Spring. If you are like me then your holiday décor is taken down but has not been placed into boxes to put away. There is something good about going through it and making for sure you still want to keep everything to put out for the next year. This is very similar to your closet wardrobe as well. If you are in Houston then you know the weather can be kind of crazy here. Just this past weekend it was all kinds of bad weather and then sunny yesterday. One thing that I can’t wait for Spring is all of the floral prints. Since it is still not 100% appropriate to wear wedges, we have to modify with a winter florals look. I love wearing some slouchy boots with a warm weather dress like this one. The bright colors mixed with the suede material in these boots gives it a transitional season look.

This dress incorporates the long sleeves that have some ruffles to give it a ladylike look. The wrap dress style looks great on everyone, which makes this dress a must have in every closet for winter florals. You could make this dress even more casual with a denim jacket paired over it. If it is colder out some tights or taller knee high boots would work great with a long coat. I am very excited for the Spring and everything fun that it will bring. I plan to embrace some of my favorite girl time activities including something fun for Galentines Day and of course the Rodeo. Happy Monday and I hope you all have a great week!
