I don’t know about you, but it is hard to try to transition some of your clothes here in Houston for the different seasons. It only starts to feel a little cooler at the end of November, but you still want to wear all of the cute sweaters and boots that we all look forward to during this season. I use my hall closet for my fall/winter clothes like my heavy coats, scarves, and boots because I don’t use them that often and they take up so much room. I can’t imagine how people up north deal with all of the heavy clothing that they have to wear. Typically for the weather changing for the seasons here in Houston, I just go about and don’t really rearrange my closet because I can often wear the same things throughout the year if I change my accessories up. This dress is one of those year round LBD that you need to always have in your closet. A classic little black dress can go with so much and will never truly go out of style. I don’t know how many times I have worn one because they have turned into a great go to style.

It is also a great staple to transition from summer to fall by adding a classic jean jacket and some different shoes. This is also one of those outfits that work very well for running errands around town. I tend to have a routine on Saturday mornings and that typically involves either getting bagels at Golden Bagel or donuts from Shipley’s and going to Home Goods at least once on the weekend. If I am not in my workout clothes still, I will throw on a simple dress like this with my coffee in hand while I shop till I drop. Also the whole fact that sneakers are now in style is so amazing to me. Not only are they the comfiest shoe, but they have really cute styles now like these blush ones.
