Are you all as excited as I am for the Houston Astros?!  I am super excited and spent the night on Saturday night watching the game and can’t wait to watch it tonight. There is something so exciting about being in a city that has a huge sports team like this. What is even more exciting is being downtown during this, even if you don’t have tickets to the actual game. On Saturday night my parents had a staycation at a hotel downtown so I was able to join them for dinner and then we watched some of it at a pub downtown. The energy is so amazing during something like this leading up to the World Series that starts tonight. One thing that I always love to do when I work downtown is take a walk through downtown whether it is at lunch or on a break to get a coffee. I love being in the city and being around the people, and honestly people watching can be so much fun even for just a short break. It makes you put work or whatever other stress you have aside for a moment to just take a breath and take it all in.

This dress here is perfect to wear on a stroll downtown on the weekend or whether you are going to grab a coffee or listen to some live music. It is a classic print with a modern twist to it. I have worn everything from a classic trench coat to casual sneakers and shorts downtown. What I like about this dress is how versatile it can be for different occasions and seasons. We all know that I love leopard print and this dress has that classic color combo to it. My favorite part of this dress has to be the unexpected open back of the dress. It has that high neck, long sleeves, and flowy length with a little fun in the back. These are always my favorite types of pieces because you can wear them time after time for different occasions. Of course I had to pair it with these fashionable cowboy boots as well. I want to continue with this trend, and especially during the Astros games. Apparently they are my lucky token when I have been wearing them!
