Happy May friends! It is so weird that it is almost Summer time. I have no idea where the time has gone by this year. What I do know is that I have been trying to enjoy every little second of it and trying to relax and really focus on me this year. Last year was very hectic and this year even though it has been busy, is far less stressful. The best thing to do when you want to relax is go on vacation of course. I just booked a little blogger trip with another fellow blogger and my photographer to Palm Springs in August, and then will be going on a cruise with my family in October. Those are some places that I am really looking forward to this year. When I spotted this flirty Spring dress it made me think that I could bring it on both of these upcoming trips. A fun floral print like this goes with so much during this time of year. We all know that I love off the shoulder looks and especially ruffles as you have seen here. There is something so girly about ruffles and when it is off the shoulder too, then you know you have the perfect dress.

I have always loved off the shoulder pieces and don’t see them leaving anytime soon. They are the perfect clothing piece to wear throughout the year here in Texas. Whether it is an off the shoulder sweater or an off the shoulder bikini, it is going to work during this time of year. My favorite part of this dress has to be the ruffles on the side as well. It gives it a little flirty look and then with the little bow on the side it pulls it all together. Lately I have been wearing basic colors like black and white, but adding some pop of blue is fun for the Spring. I could see myself wearing this to an upcoming wedding or shower as well. I have my friend’s baby shower coming up and know exactly what I might wear now 😉
